I cant stand her, but youre right...its like outside of mutants, she hulk, and now black widow, the rest are straight jobbers. A good investment in the inhumans (other than war of kings) could push Medusa up the ranks tho....

No doubt Inhumans are going to be getting a major push over the next few years.

Don't think Medusa will get a huge push.. her powers suck

But I can see other inhuman females besides Kamala getting that push. If Disney is smart anyway..

I would say She-Hulk was bigger before the Carol push started

She hulk is defintiely more recognizable.

A couple years ago definitely, problem is that they've got two Hulk movies that didn't exactly light up the box office so I don't think they have much faith in She-Hulk.

The best female character they got right now is Kamala Khan's Ms Marvel, but I don't think Disney is going to invest in a muslim-centric superhero movie anytime soon either.

I think that story seriously ruins Carol. It will always just be there, and I can't take the character seriously. I mean shyt.. they should push Kamala over her

But really.. I think Monica woulda been a better female to push. She doesn't have any shytty stories at that level .

Yea i think you and i talked about it before but Kamala is the most valuable female character Marvel has outside the x-franchise, and is far more important than Carol.

And by the time CM comes out, Scarlet Witch, Wasp, Black Widow, Valykrie all already would've been on screen... and let's be honest, Wonder Woman is the Michael Jordan of this white superheroine lane that Carol was put in to break grounds in. Its like thinkin the Cyborg movie was going to harness the same anticipation and novelty following Black Panther and all the other black male heroes that are going to be in place by 2019. Hence the recent rumors that DC is thinkin about re-purposing that film into a Titans movie.

The most glaring omission in comic films is with women of color. If Disney were to find a charismatic young brown girl like they did with them Star Wars kids, to put smack dab in the middle of the MCU, that'd be a bigger gold mine than Carol.

Seriously.. that's probably the most well known Ms. Marvel story. It's why I never understood why they were giving Carol such a push.

Actually, I think Rogue jackin her shyt and rockin it better than Carol ever could as a mainstream superhero was/is the most well known Ms Marvel story

Yup and in fact, Sue Storm aside, if they had the rights, the holy trinity of Marvel women would probably be Storm, Jean Grey and the flying brick version of Rogue. Those 3 pretty much plug most of the holes when it comes to whats lacking in female super heroes. Hell, Psylocke too.

That MCU cgi budget would have those 4 wreckin shyt like Hulk and Thor, combo'ing off each other and Rogue would be on some MOS steez vs Hulk, Juggernaut, etc. But what's crazy is that even with those 4, Kamala would still have a credible lane of her own as a kid superhero. the female equivalent of what they're tryin to do with high school Peter Parker.
