Captain Marvel being on this team is still an issue for me. They could have added another black or latino character or use Sunfire...he's a minority and was part of the Avengers already.
My ideal pick would have been Storm just for the tension it would have created between her and T'Challa.
I really wanted a team with no white people at all.

Storm would've been great. Or Patriot. I wanna see if Monica and Adam will finally become a thing.

how many issues of Karnak do you think we'll get out of Ellis?

Four? Five?

I mean.... first issue reads like classic Ellis.... but at the same time, it reads like an uninspired Ellis. Sort of "Paint By Numbers".

Like he didn't ask for the book, they just gave him a choice to do it and then offered a hooker made of living money for his services.

Patriot would be absolutely useless on this team and fukk Storm. I'm honestly fine with CM being on the team though.

I don't mind Carol on Ultimates per se but if it was gonna be a white girl, I'd have preferred someone like Angela from Spawn fame. She's a fairly new/blank slate at Marvel, and would've gave T'Challa something to do on the female end before his book comes out. As it stands, Monica is with Adam, Carol is with Rhodey (perhaps) and Chavez is gay.

But low key, the character who needs this book the most is Blue Marvel.

Is this really necessary? I mean, if it's like the Secret Wars: Civil War then I'm all for it, but I doubt it. There's definitely room for improvement on the original, but I can't see how they do that storyline again without having the heroes act out of character unnecessarily. Especially with the original being pretty fresh

He was the leader of the team, love interest of Kate Bishop/Hawkeye, and tied to the first Captain America. He had the juice, but they did him like 'Pac (in real life). real rap

I haven't seen Sunfire in a long time but isn't he already on the team Big Hero 6? Maybe not cause but the cartoon movie came out and they didn't use him (I dont think they did anyway, I didn't see it)
