There's nothing Marvel loves to do more than disrespect every long-term relationship and allowing all of their writers to make any female character they want into a floozy. That's why you got Storm who had a long-time fling with Forge randomly marry T'Challa, and then upon their divorce, immediately went and fukked Wolverine. That's why Kitty Pride, long-time love of Colossus, is now fukking Star Lord. It is why She-Hulk had a rep so bad that Peter David had to write a story about it being an alternate reality She-Hulk who fukked the Juggernaut.
