Read "Mr. Flood", I think it was called?

Great book, but its essentially Warren Ellis' "Desolation Jones" with Matt Smith's version of The Doctor from Doctor Who in the place of Desolation Jones.

Basically they messed with his brain so he doesn't need sleep and becomes a super eccentric super detective because of it.

Still a good read, though.

Phonogram is Kieron Gillen being the most Kieron Gillen that he can possibly be. It is like hipster music nerd overload.

Beauty is cool and I have loved this overall premise ever since it was first introduced in one of Image's Pilot Seasons from a few years ago.

I'm actually reading both right now. lol

Phonogram feels like I'm missing some backstory, so if there's a first one, I'll go and read it.

Beauty was cool, if not a tad predictable.

The Beauty was cool, I wasn't blown away but i'll pick up #2

I also got We Can Never Go Home #1 from Black Mask. That was great.

That stone that the girl picked up, isn't the reality gem, is it? If so, did she just wish her mother back (dead or alive) from wherever, to help out? Issue is lowkey sad af, if that's what actually happened.

I'm not really up on Nova/Thanos, but, Infinity gauntlet has been my fav book this year.

Yeah, they were fine with the Groot thing, after all: the popular Groot isn't the only one of his species.

But adding Star-Lord and Gamora for no reason seemed incredibly forced and killed damn near all the forward momentum the book had.

Plus... Gamora not knowing who Thanos is?

That's not how this works, brehs. That's not how you do that.
