Chuck gotta be the one dying after this current era. I haven't seen him in any of the advertised books for the new launch and he's done every bad decision possible in the past 8 months

I don't like how they did Professor X (and Beast) during Krakoa. Since the beginning they never really explained what happened to make him change so much. Every villain who is a mutant is on that island, why have Professor X make these moves. Even Sinister had a heroic turn this week.Chuck gotta be the one dying after this current era. Honestly I've never cared about Beast and he'd been doing shady shyt for years before Krakoa even started. I'm not a hardcore comic fan but at least since I've been reading stuff (mid 00's), I never read a real hero version of Beast.
Chuck been an a$$hole for most of his X-Men history to the point it's a meme. But it was explained why he changed during this era from the very beginning. HoX's final issues have him explaining in various data pages how Moira fukked him up mentally and completely changed him for them to be able to "achieve the dream" of Krakoa.

I think it’s clear Xavier is trying to get rid of Essex more than he is focused on the Sentinels/Nimrod. The issue is only a handful of people know Essex exist and none of them are people the rest of the team is going to listen too if they try to justify Xavier’s betrayal, plus all this death is his plan B to just going back in time and putting a bullet in 12 year old Moira’s head And there never even being a Krakoa.
Essentially I think he has to let Nimrod kill enough X-men that Phoenix wakes up and kills Essex and the Sentinels.
I don’t think the writers have the time to Meta contextualize this but essentially Chuck is giving up on his dream of mutual co-existence (that would have reset with a dead Moira) for the dream of Krakoa (the ongoing universe). shyt might be bad again, but every mutant is going to remember Krakoa, and it might be the dream they fight for, basically how to get back to having a homeland.

Idk. It would be real interesting if Nimrod sticks around. He’s always been the future and well.... The future is now if he doesn't get erased.
Lowkey he’s like fukking superman power wise and I am not even sure the Hulk and Thor can take him.
The Dominion is the bigger threat because it's implied the reason the Mutants never win is Essex. The one universe they did win in was the one he was killed in. It doesn't ensure the future, but it gives them a chance.
With that said, yeah Xavier is a moron, but he is running a con on a cosmic being that see’s everything all at once. The only people who understand the plan is maybe Rachel and Hope and they don't trust him either.
I think Thor at his highest probably could, but he rarely goes all out. Also couldn't someone like Franklin Richards or Jim Jaspers just wish him away?

Thor I don't know Ultron is always out there beating his ass.... And eventually we got to see a Nimrod/Ultron fight and how that would work out but Thor can't just talk Ultron, I don't know if he could tank Ultron. Lowkey I am sort of hoping one of the other dominions is Ultron, since he is a phalanx.
As for the Franklin and Jaspers. Maybe but it would be a boring writer that puts those guys in the mix.
The Thor that beat Galactus and the Black Winter would be able to do it. All Father Thor. Unless Ultron and Nimrod are stronger than Galan.

Yeah but those are power up. Base Thor is a coin flip, and Nimrod lowkey probably beats Ultron because Nimrod is a killer. He‘s not talking, he’s shooting. Ultron would do some mad robot shyt while fighting Thor, Nimrod is gonna shoot a laser at him and then heal after get struck by lightning.
If Nimrod sticks around I honestly think shyt could get interesting. A lot of the old villains aren’t really about it anymore. Maybe it’s time we start seeing Days of Future Past happen….
