This book has way less hype so I'm not expecting something ground breaking but it's Hickman writing The Maker and The Illuminati so it should be a fun read

I don't think I've ever encountered a single person who actually liked The Boys comics. They seem to be universally panned, and the overwhelming opinion is that it was a miracle the show did anything useful with the concept.

i liked aspects, but theres a lot of mean spirited to downright racist shyt in the boys. the g wiz/g coast shyt was completely unnecessary, superduper too. but as fukked up as it was, and what it eventually became, i liked mothers milks backstory.
