Gotham City Year One #6:

Slam Bradley is a white-passing half-black man and may or may not be Bruce's biological grandfather.

He's bringing back the Ultimate Universe with a 4 issue book called "Ultimate Invasion", Bryan Hitch is drawing.

This book has way less hype so I'm not expecting something ground breaking but it's Hickman writing The Maker and The Illuminati so it should be a fun read :ehh:

Did WildC.A.T.S get bumped to ongoing?

How the hell is this book getting (at least) nine issues when Green Arrow is only getting six? :why:

Erik Larsen is just the king of trolling.
He always does the opposite of what's expected, even if it's weird and abrupt.
In Savage Dragon
He has an old couple (Paul Dragon and Alex) contemplating adopting a villain's kid for an entire issue, only for the kid to get his head randomly cut off in two

I don't think I've ever encountered a single person who actually liked The Boys comics. They seem to be universally panned, and the overwhelming opinion is that it was a miracle the show did anything useful with the concept.

I read up to Herogasm before I tapped out. fukk Garth Ennis. :unimpressed:

i liked aspects, but theres a lot of mean spirited to downright racist shyt in the boys. the g wiz/g coast shyt was completely unnecessary, superduper too. but as fukked up as it was, and what it eventually became, i liked mothers milks backstory.
