The last few eps of Amazing Spider-Man have been cracking me up and I'm usually not into Spider-Man's brand of humor.

A lot of DC books are selling out now with the James Gunn announcement: Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow, Batman by Grant Morrison, Swamp Thing by Alan Moore, and The Authority omnibus are all either sold out or on the best seller list.

Who would have thought that actually naming the comics that inspired the movies and TV shows would increase the comic sales? :ohhh:

Has anybody checked out Daughter of Blade #1? Is it any good?
I bought it, but I haven't been to the shop to pick up my comics in a month. :dead:

I'll probably pick them up later today or tomorrow.

This shouldn’t be a surprise. Everything becomes hot when it’s gonna become a cbm.

Not like this.

Usually these directors just mention the same five stories over and over again, or they mass reprint a character's whole run without referencing which specific stories they're pulling from.

Didn't expect to see a Kamen Rider reference on The Coli today. :russ:

Great news. Poison Ivy is an amazing series (I'd argue it's DC's Immortal Hulk) and it's good to see what was intended to only be a six-issue miniseries get bumped to a full ongoing rather that just extended like Swamp Thing or Shang-Chi.

That seems to be the new direction the industry is going in, at least for the Big Two: short minis that get extended if they sell well enough, rather than straight up ongoings that get canceled when sales drop or the creative team leaves.

Lawful Evil #3, Along Came a Spider, is now available

The action is heating up! Dark Spider and Suc-U-Babe are left reeling from their explosive encounter with the Concordance and caught in the web of a much deadlier threat than the ones they just escaped.

fukking finally. This run has been out of print for years.

I've been meaning to do a big Green Lantern read through now that I finally have all three volumes of Johns' run. I might wait until this comes out and read them all together.

I take back everything bad I ever said about Nick Spencer's Spider-Man run.

It had its ups and downs, but at least it felt like he was trying when it counts. Zeb Wells' run is actively insulting the reader's intelligence. :unimpressed:

I'm giving it until the end of the next arc before I decide to drop it. Hopefully they actually give a decent answer the mystery this whole run has been hinging on, that they haven't even addressed in almost a year. :trash:
