honestly it makes that shyt stark said to pymtron in civil war 2 funny because the reason they probably dont get together like they used to is that they fukked jan under hanks nose and cant deal with their guilt
The Wasp/Hawkeye stuff was when that hack Chuck Austen was writing the book after Geoff Johns left suddenly.

It was shytty too because Johns had established Hank and Jan as being back together and not focusing on the past stuff that shytty writers like to only focus on with them.

Why are you hating it? Why bother if you don’t like stuff? It’s like marks hate watching a Wrasslin show. :heh:
I have DC and Marvel event series on my pull list and when the pandemic shut everything down and comics stopped I completely forgot about updating my list so my CBS ordered copies for me. I don't want to fukk him over on the issues so I'm in for the entirety of Death Metal.

John Ridley Unveils 'The Other History of the DC Universe'

The Oscar-winning '12 Years A Slave' writer unpicks the hidden stories behind the comic book universe's 80-plus year mythology.

Years after the completion of the second outing of his alternate history series The American Way, 12 Years A Slave screenwriter John Ridley is returning to comics to reveal The Other History of the DC Universe. The long-awaited series, exploring DC’s lengthy comic book mythology from a new angle, has been newly scheduled for a November release.

The five-part series, originally announced in 2018, re-examines important and iconic moments from DC’s comic book history from the point of view of characters from traditionally disenfranchised groups, including Jefferson Pierce — better known as Black Lightning — and Renee Montoya (The Question). Giuseppe “Cammo” Camuncoli, Andrea Cucchi, and colorist José Villarrubia are the artists for the series, with covers from Camuncoli and Jamal Campbell (Far Sector, Naomi).

The Other History of the DC Universe will begin Nov. 24, with the series being released every second month from that point forward.

Read the Q&A with John Ridley.

DC Comics, DC Universe Hit By Major Layoffs

The majority of staff of the streaming service DC Universe has been laid off, as has editor-in-chief Bob Harras and multiple other executives on the publishing side.

Monday's WarnerMedia layoffs have affected a significant number of high-level figures at comic book powerhouse DC, multiple sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.

Among those said to be losing their positions are editor-in-chief Bob Harris, senior VP of publishing strategy and support services Hank Kanalz, VP of marketing and creative services Jonah Weiland, VP global publishing initiatives and digital strategy Bobbie Chase, senior story editor Brian Cunningham, and executive editor Mark Doyle, who oversaw the rollout of the Black Label graphic novels. Jim Lee remains the CCO.

Roughly one third of DC's editorial ranks are being laid off, according to sources.

Insiders also say the majority of the staff of the streaming service DC Universe has been laid off, a move that had been widely expected as WarnerMedia shifts its focus to new streaming service HBO Max.

"DC Universe was DOA as soon as the AT&T merger happened
,” said one source.

DC Universe launched in May 2018, and is home to live-action series such as Doom Patrol, Titans and Stargirl, as well as animated offerings including Young Justice and Harley Quinn. Some of those shows have now started to stream on HBO Max.

Also a victim of the layoffs: DC Direct, the company’s in-house merchandise and collectibles manufacturer. The division has been shuttered after 22 years, another move that was rumored when Warner Bros. Consumer Products began taking a more active role in DC merchandising.

A DC spokesperson declined to comment on the changes, which come less than two weeks before the planned Aug. 22 online event DC Fandome, which is set to showcase stars from DC's film, TV and comic book worlds.
