Bali is on my list, heard your money goes a looooooong way, 5 star treatment for pretty cheap
Yes its pretty cheap there. I hired a driver that brought me to all the tourist spots. $60 for a whole day but I tip another $10 at the end, thats Canadian $ too so American $ will stretch even more.

For hotels I recommend Potato Head. Made my trip. Woke up to this and had breakfast every day here, swam in the infinity pool then at the beach.

The Bay
Just got home from a few days in Sweden. Only got to enjoy it for one day tho. Missed out on going to the Ice Bar smh…
I think my brain was scheming for a spring return to Scandinavia to also do Norway and Denmark on the same trip hitting Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen since they are close in proximity considering…

The rest of my year looks like a 2 trips to NYC. I’m going to Seoul, South Korea the 1st weekend of December then back to Asia via Tokyo the 3rd week of December for a few days of my vacation that week.

Next year I plan on setting personal records on travel…at least that is the plan…

I been slacking. Haven't been anywhere since Barcelona and the Mediterranean cruise back in June. Been fighting plantar fasciitis and trying to get that right before going anywhere else but getting impatient at this point.

I preferred vietnam because no cac aussie tourists.. they are everywhere in Bali. I went to other parts of Indonesia back in 2019 (Jakarta and rural parts of Java) though and i loved those parts just as much as vietnam.

i heard vietnam is full of russians though? like they took over the beaches and whatnot

I went to saigon and nha trang, i saw lots of russian writing on store fronts in nha trang (beach part of vietnam) but zero russians... i actually heard russian more in bali.

Word? Bali is completely taken over by cacs, no?

I knew a Belgian girl who's family owned some furniture business over there

I loved it. So much to see. La Familia Sagrada blew my mind. Well worth the money to see it. Spent five days there. Loved the food. The everyday women were gorgeous. I want to go back and just chill again. Didnt get to experience night life at all. Very walkable for most stuff. Architecture was top notch. Spent a lot of time just randomly walking around going nowhere in particular because everywhere we turned was something worth seeing. Definitely recommend.

You can get away with two and see plenty. We did one of those city bus tours. They had two different routes that covered different areas. Did that for two of the days. It’ll take you to most of the best places to see.
