I’m at the Hilton Waikiki beach. It’s one block from the main strip Kalakaua and the ocean. I prefer this location because the strip gets packed with tourists sometimes. It’s on the diamondhead end of Waikiki, close to the zoo and queens beach park. It’s interesting to see how much it’s changed here in the last 10 years. A lot of new malls, gourmet food halls (Ayesha curry has a restaurant...food was some mid tho ), and lots of Japanese influence...high end shopping, Japanese restaurants, etc.
Cheap food options in Waikiki: Royal Hawaiian mall has a food court on its 2nd level, there’s an authentic Japanese food court call Yokocho, Michael Mina food hall in the international market place, and an outdoor food market on Kuhio & Kaʻiulani
Nightlife: Rumfire - legit nightclub on the beach, Bevy - hipster bar with cool cocktails, addiction - nightclub, tiki’s - beachfront bar
Hawaii is one of those places where global nomadic people stop for awhile. I’ve met people from all over the world in this last week. Also lots of people with $...me and my coworker have had random people paying our bar tab.
The last three days I’ve spent the entire day at nude beaches
You have a lot of it covered.
Giovanni’s shrimp truck is the OG and best IMO. There’s two, one in Haleiwa and the other is deep on the North Shore.
I’d recommend checking out the west side beaches if you have time. It’s a different climate, always sunny and dry. Some people discourage from going over there because of all the homeless and locals who don’t fukk with tourists but I’ve never had any problems.
Waimea Bay is a must visit on the north shore. It’s a dope place to swim and snorkel...depending on the time of year. If it’s winter, the waves are too big.
There’s a nude beach on the north shore called Polo beach. There’s usually huge sea turtles there feeding on the algae.
Nico’s at Pier 38 is a dope seafood market/restaurant. Lots of fresh local fish, poke, etc.
3 peaks hike is a short but steep and scenic hike that overlooks Lanai kai and waimanolo.
Tantalus lookout overlooks Waikiki, Honolulu, and diamond head.
Tonkatsu Ginza Barin is a dope Waikiki restaurant from Japan that serves fried pork
Mai tai bar at the royal Hawaiian is nice. Strong drinks right on the beach
There’s decent snorkeling just off shore at Queens Beach Waikiki. Just swim towards the dark colored coral about 20-30ft from the shore.

Yea I know but I had a good time in Honduras
I stayed in Kensington my first time. Dope area except it was a trek when I wanted to do anything on the east end. If I was a little younger I'd be ready to risk it and move to London for a bitStay in zone 1 and 2
Transit is great anywhere but you'll save on transit fees.
Croydon you can find cheap places but it's not zone 1 or 2
