I feel you, imo it was a cool concept that I didn't think they executed well...
It felt like they mighta written themselves into a corner and wanted to change directions with how abrupt everything in that arc was. I've gotta see if there's a manga or light novel or something, because I wonder if there was supposed to be more to it that got cut out.

I agree with all of your criticisms but I also enjoyed the hell out of the goofy show.Am I the only one watching “Sweet Home” on Netflix? The show is cheesy af, the cgi is awful, but for some reason it gots its hooks in me. I hope it gets renewed.
