I'm all for moving on with technology etc but this is film and is part of a classic franchise. So it's ok to have walking thousands year old mummies roaming about, a count from Transylvania that turns into a bat..etc.
Come on..leave that mechanical invisible suit for a marvel movie.

But that updates it for now. During that era, people thought science was mixing potions and creating shyt that goes boom in a lab. Now we know better and understand a "mad scientist" is someone who bends technology for their own profit or evil means. Updating all these movies or properties means putting them in a modern context. Invisible man is "science-based" in loose terms, so it makes sense to apply modern science to it. Something like Dracula or Frankenstein has a bit more freedom

Watched the countdown. It was a decent 5/10 type of movie. It felt like a main stream horror movie instead of an actual horror movie if that somehow makes any sense. It’s wild how I knew a lot of actors from the movie though. will never watch it again. My boy Tom segura killed his spots

Wish it more of a biological experiment..
Oh well , I still enjoyed it, it was very creepy in places.
