Mannnnnn- this shyt is dumb, little 100lb college girls taking on these brolic type dudes; it’s not just the one killer, it’s a fraternity
But the aggressive men in the movie manage to get overpowered by the 2 female leads- and the nemesis in the movie says lines like “I’m, your king, bow down to me, you will submit” and shyt like that. The lead actress will retort with “we are strong, you do not have power over us”
Real over the top and not subtle references at all. Idk- I zoned out, this had nothing to do with the original black Christmas movies. Barely had anything to do with Christmas.

The "girl power" stuff wasn't even my biggest issue with the movie. The fact it looked like it was edited by a spider monkey on meth in order to get it to a PG-13 rating was what bothered me the most.This movie is horrible so far..

That girl power stuff was distracting, trust me. Like Jamie Curtis in Halloween they didn’t need to emphasize how mentally strong and capable she is - you just know she was empowering. This movie would have been teenage Jamie Curtis yelling -“ I will not let you overpower me, Michael Myers, I’ma tough woman “ every time or every scene in which she ran or defended herself against him. Annoying.
