what are you laughing about :scust:
Did you see what he wrote, first he says the ending of Tricks was "stupid" which is such a glowing literary analysis from him:beli:
and then he's acting like Bloody Disgusting isn't the go-to site for horror news and information just because they ranked a Rob Zombie movie
:mjtf:

Just finished watching it in my office.

I didn't hate it. It defientlty is trying to be a franchise and I think it can but they need to pin some things down first.
what do you mean by "you didn't hate it"... :dahell::mindblown:
What are you expecting- you can't expect Stephen King, Craven or Carpenter from a straight to streaming type movie
I see that you and @Jello Biafra have all these unrealistic expectations. Yall are really acting like the movie was predictable - dude was murdering everyone in his path, even people who I didn't expect to get killed. The killer was not identifiable- so Idk why yall are acting like the ending was basic, Omar Epps is not even a horror role player but he murked this role.

Bloody Disgusting is staffed with mostly neckbeards so them liking that janky bullshyt Rob Zombie puts out makes sense.
You're really acting like they don't have any neutrality - when they ripped apart 3 From Hell, calling it his worst movie. They give it 1 out of 5 skeleton heads. Which means they don't always rate Zombie's movies as positive.
:jbhmm:
[Review] Rob Zombie Succeeds Only in Tarnishing His Best Film with Aimless Followup ‘3 from Hell’
"I’ve always argued that Rob Zombie is a visionary filmmaker; The Devil’s Rejects is his masterpiece, in my eyes, but even his not-quite-beloved work like Halloween II and The Lords of Salem was home to a level of singular artistry that he’s never truly been given the credit for. But the heartbreaking truth is that 3 from Hell is a film without any real vision. You might think that Zombie must’ve come up with a damn good reason to break the ending to The Devil’s Rejects and finally make a sequel that he long promised he had no interest in making, but 3 from Hell almost aggressively says otherwise. Once he rushes past interesting bits like their unlikely survival and their equally unlikely escape from prison, Zombie doesn’t really know what to do with the characters, begging the question of why this film was even made.

The one-two punch of House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects was something special"

and they called him visionary :usure:but still had the capacity to separate their bias from their opinions, unlike you :leostare:

Bloody Disgusting Picks the 25 Best Horror Films of the 2010s!
A few notables from the list.
#24 Lords of Salem :youngsabo::umad::umad:
#14 Train to Busan
#9 Dr. Sleep
#7 The Conjuring
#2 Get Out
#1 Evil Dead

-Sadly, a new golden age can only come when the previous one ends, and the past decade was indeed ravaged by a whole lot of loss. We lost Wes Craven, George Romero and Tobe Hooper in the past ten years, and though the decade kicked off with films from both Craven and John Carpenter, we mostly went without many of our favorite horror masters in the 2010s. But with one era behind us, these past ten years have brought some clear focus to what the future of the horror genre is going to look like, with new masters rising up and making their presence known as leaders of this particular golden age. Jordan Peele, Mike Flanagan, Ari Aster, James Wan, Robert Eggers, Jennifer Kent, Andy Muschietti and Fede Alvarez are just a handful of the filmmakers who each have at least one film on this list, and the originality and variety they’ve brought to the genre has played a huge part in the past decade being so extraordinary.
Yeah, now I’m done with that site lollll

Dudes had knife in that movie.
okkkaayyyyyyyy....and people had guns but the problem was they didn't know where he was or how he was hiding out. The killer attacked the FBI Chief in the bathroom at a bar. Who would think to do that. Remember that scene where he killed the lady cop and the female fbi investigator- he would use the power of distraction. None of the scenes were predictable. Everyone thinking that her father was trying to commit suicide when in reality, he was having a smoke break and was pushed off the building. Which brings into question - how was the killer able to track everyone, at different times, in different places?? Which made sense considering he wasn't working alone.

You rarely like the same movies that I do, you are like the @Jello Biafra lite version. :mjlol:

The lime flavor that no one eats and everyone avoids. it's only served in nursing homes because they lost their sense of taste and ability to know a good product, so it doesn't matter what flavor they consume.

BD was way more into discovering indie flicks than praising the popular favorites in the early part of this decade. You can’t blame em too much.. hard to keep the DNS paid as an ePub these days :pachaha:

If I may, Jello and I having similar taste should be more indicative that we three just differ in opinion and that we aren’t out to get you :jawalrus:

I said how I felt about RZ a couple months back and I think it was a fair assessment. My annoyance at the BD list is more just about the fact that they ignored a lot of great indie horror and have some questionable entries taking up real estate.

oh look, Jello Jr. is disparaging entire high traffic horror websites based on their position of a certain horror director; as if independent releases get that much press and publicity in the same energy as the heavily marketed films.

I appreciate your position and the polite way that you have crafted your response, thanks for the clarification:obama:

But that being said, Jello is wild petty - he can kick rocks, this is way past difference of opinion- dude is on a campaign of retribution and inciteful commentary with his revenge spree since Halloween of last year- he will be dealt with accordingly. He knows what he did and what his movie motives are.
:camby:if I pick up collateral damage along the way, so be it :ld:

I never said the ending was basic. I liked it. I like the idea of them going on the hunt. Yes I didn't hate it. It was a decent movie. I'd like to see where it goes. :hubie: geez.

I was talking about Attack the Block. They had knife work in the movie. You're too worked up. :francis:
