A Villa Straylight.
I watch UK shows and movies alllll the time, for a few years now. My ears have adjusted to it. Top Boy, the series, was like that too, with all the different accents and slangs. It's second nature to me lol. Same thing with Spanish language, Italian and French shows. Once you start watching them - it's nothing to adapt to the nuances.
Dudes had knife in that movie.

OMG... can I just say that this movie was really really good. Omar Epps in the lead role and a few supporting cast cameos from the "Scream" movies. Definitely gives a nod to Scream but without the comedic undertones. This was a very decent slasher film. I may be biased bc I'm a huge Omar Epps fan but the storyline and unexpected plot twists gets a recc from me. (streaming on Hulu). The body count starts as soon as the movie opens. By the time the movie ends, I know the body count numbers had to be at least 50- :deadmanny::merchant:
‘Trick’: Exclusive First Look at Omar Epps in Patrick Lussier’s Slasher [Interview]
Writer Todd Farmer and director Patrick Lussier, who collaborated on My Bloody Valentine 3D and Drive Angry, reteamed on Trick, a brand new Halloween-themed horror film that’s heading to the ongoing Cannes market. Bloody Disgusting has an exclusive first look at Omar Epps in the main role of Detective Mike Denver, a man obsessed with a killer that has eluded him for years.

The story centers on an elusive serial killer, who descends upon a small town annually. He is responsible for gruesome murders year after year, each seemingly unrelated. No one believes this could be the same killer. Detective Denver (Epps) has faced Trick once before, having shot and killed him. Or so everyone keeps telling him. However, Denver knows Trick is still out there, and he’s coming back for revenge.

“Todd and I wanted Trick to pay both homage to its genre predecessors and cut a new trail with its slasher-noire set up,” Lussier tells Bloody Disgusting.

I thought it was OK even if they did go a bit too far with the "Michael Myers as a Parkour ninja" stuff.
And that supposed twist ending was stupid.

-Sadly, a new golden age can only come when the previous one ends, and the past decade was indeed ravaged by a whole lot of loss. We lost Wes Craven, George Romero and Tobe Hooper in the past ten years, and though the decade kicked off with films from both Craven and John Carpenter, we mostly went without many of our favorite horror masters in the 2010s. But with one era behind us, these past ten years have brought some clear focus to what the future of the horror genre is going to look like, with new masters rising up and making their presence known as leaders of this particular golden age. Jordan Peele, Mike Flanagan, Ari Aster, James Wan, Robert Eggers, Jennifer Kent, Andy Muschietti and Fede Alvarez are just a handful of the filmmakers who each have at least one film on this list, and the originality and variety they’ve brought to the genre has played a huge part in the past decade being so extraordinary.
Bloody Disgusting is staffed with mostly neckbeards so them liking that janky bullshyt Rob Zombie puts out makes sense.

Just finished watching it in my office.

I didn't hate it. It defientlty is trying to be a franchise and I think it can but they need to pin some things down first.

Yeah, it's not the worst thing to ever be made but it's a mid 2000's straight to DVD action/horror movie starring Cuba Gooding Jr which should let you know exactly how good it actually is.
Cuba was a star at one point. Ron Peralman is also in it. So I expected to at least enjoy it.

:gucci:That was the best part of the movie climax :hhh:
It was a depiction of the mindset of the detective in thinking about the elements of evil. But okay, let's go back to 1st grade descriptions and call it "stupid":unimpressed:

2020 another year, another Jello hate-ism. wth are you talking about??!! Bloody Disgusting is one of the more popular and reputable horror sites. You're janky and so are your opinions:pacspit:
I like how you ignore the fact that Zombie's movies appear in rankings on other horror sites- selective reasoning much??...but since this is how you want to start, let's get it. I'm starting to see a pattern with you. I see another year, same slanderous shyt. The holiday break is over now - I have time
