Finally saw Ready or Not. Themes were great. Good movie. It's no Us, but it's good. On to Dr. Sleep.

Which is the wackest criticism I feel like we in this thread need to be above. “Scary” is just as subjective as funny. What scares me might not scare you and vice versa. I have friends who can’t watch possession movies; scares them to death. They don’t bother me at all. But you show me a home invasion movie or something where everyone is out to get one character and they don’t know it? I might sleep with the light on
It was well-acted, well-directed and very unflinching in it's depictions of horrific scenarios.
Plus it had the nostalgia factor from The Shining going for it.
I feel you. I think this movie was made for certain people as all movies are. I think the wrong people are seeing and reviewing this film. Tbh this was a movie made for women by women. I think women the movie was made do should be the only reviewers.
