This had all the potential of a horror sleeper hit. Good pacing, good suspense, original idea....but it doesn't stick the landing at all. I think the bigger message of this was the dichotomy between the camgirl and the real girl behind the screen name rather than, well...being a horror flick. Nothing of any real consequence happens and nothing is explained (I don't need a logical explaination at all but I need SOMETHING), it just...ends.

What a shame.

Yup- I knew as soon as I saw the solar eclipse looking like a kindergarten cardboard cutout drawing and the couple deciding to have sex in an open grave while at the cemetery -in the first few minutes; fukkery level 10

i would say it is more Horror than anything cause man is this shyt DARK. and its (IMO) really fukking disturbing.
Like McFly said it has its issues, but i REALLY loved this movie!

This was snooze status for me, no point to it, in the same vein of Velvet Buzzsaw.

I wanted to like it more than I did but by the time it was over I was just lukewarm about it.
Madeline Brewer was good though.

Watched BRAID...that was some weird shyt.

THE RANGER was fun but I never bought the Final Girl in this movie. Not sure if it was the actress, the character or both.

POLAROID was trash.

Velvet looked kinda...too post modern horror for me. like the horror movie that doesn't want to be a horror movie but is about the nature of horror movies. Which can be cool if in the right hands...unfortunately, the only right hands for that passed away a few years ago. If it ain't Craven, I'm probably not interested
