The heel turn is out of nowhere. I can tell they weren’t really going for a situation where he slowly becomes the bad guy but that makes for a more compelling story if they’re trying to do a Superman inverse. He starts as this sweet kid and then just decides to use take over the world because the voices in his head tell him to. So yeah, I get he’s programmed for that and was sent here for that purpose, but it just happens out of the blue

i actually kinda liked that quick heel turn tho.
i think thats what made it so scary to me.
and he was fukkin BRUTAL with the kills!
i gotta give this a legit 8/10.
like the whole atmosphere of the movie was creepy as hell.

Oh yeah it worked in the larger sense. Just didn’t work for me entirely. Ending has me heated tho
