The two young women (Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas) standing on Evan’s doorstep are where Evan’s dream takes a nightmarish turn. Given co-writer/director Eli Roth’s well-deserved reputation for creating cinematic discomfort, it should come as no surprise what happens next: Things get weird, and then dark, and then much, much, much darker. But this is no splatter film, so Roth keeps the horror nice and psychological as Evan’s life—and house—get ripped apart, piece by beautiful piece.

Supposedly not a gorey affair, so I'm not sure what to expect from Roth on this. Kinda hard to see Keanu like this right after John Wick.

i was reading this thread a few days ago and of course A Serbian Film was mentioned at one point....and since i had heard about it and never saw it, decided to finally catch it......



that shyt ruined my week....

I dont know what was more disturbing tho, the scenes in it, or the fact like I thought it was actually an ok film.....

its a well made film. Good acting,great cinematography etc. Its not a bad film in and of itself to me.

But I'd never watch it again.

It was boring and exploitative for no reason...it claims to be making a statement about power, but its hollow and ridiculous. I've never heard a great defense of that "movie."
