I think what bummed me out the most with Thriller was that it comes on the heels of how disappointing Tales from the Hood 2 was.
I want more black horror and while Jordan Peele is doing his thing I really want to see more black filmmakers making horror that features black characters and I want to like them. Right now it's just Peele's movies and not much else worth even discussing because what we are getting is so subpar.

Depends on what the series is about and the plot. what's an example of a horror series that you're referring to?? In some cases, the series is better than the movie.

Not many. I haven’t watched much of them, of course I’m sure that hinders my opinion haha

I tried to get into AHS at its start. I tried the mike Flanagan show on Netflix, haunting hill house or whatever. He’s a Baltimore native and his movies are p quality, made new wanna check it out. Didn’t get far

Haven’t seen it yet. But everything I’ve read about it indicates it takes place currently. If it was a period piece, that definitely would’ve been a talking point
