Is that Pet Sematary movie set in Modern time or set back in the 80s?

Not many. I haven’t watched much of them, of course I’m sure that hinders my opinion haha

I tried to get into AHS at its start. I tried the mike Flanagan show on Netflix, haunting hill house or whatever. He’s a Baltimore native and his movies are p quality, made new wanna check it out. Didn’t get far

Oh ok. Yeah... American Horror Story is hit or miss depending on the season. AHS - season 1 is good. I don’t remember all the titles but skip Hotel, Coven. The circus themed one is ohhhhkkk The Asylum season is good. Roanoke is decent. I heard people say Apocalypse is good. I haven’t watched all of Cult yet.

The Wolf Creek series on Shudder is good - Started watching. Exorcist on Fox was good. If you need other reccs, lemme know.

It’s set in the present - 2018. From what I saw in the trailer - lot more foreboding and intense than the original Looking forward to see the remake. I would watch the 80s one too, if you haven’t seen it though just to get a point of reference for the modern one even though

..I have an appreciation for the origins, pure classic imo..

...the original was made in the 80s not the 1940s
They had landlines at least and rotary dial. No cell phones. The TVs were even in color
When I first saw it , I think it was on VHS at the time
