Did anyone catch Last Drive-In last night? the double feature was C.H.U.D. and Castle Freak plus Barbara Crampton was Joe Bob's guest.
Joe Bob shyt all over C.H.U.D. and it was hilarious.
I also had forgotten just how crazy Castle Freak was since I hadn't seen it in years.
Wow I didn't even know this existed. Gonna hijack my roommates shudder account to catch these. Are they all available to stream?

I remember watching Castle Freak after falling in love with Re-Animator and wanting to see more from Stuart Gordon's horror vision. I enjoyed it - I remember being satisfied, but I don't think I've seen a Gordon movie yet that gave me nearly the same amount of laughs and enjoyment as Reanimator.

honestly I like his episodic stories like langoliers a lot more than his full-length stuff. he gets too scatterbrained telling longer stories for the most part, imo

my aunt was a king stan in the 80s and 90s so shes ran down all the good and not so good ones lmao. I read needful things as a kid, one of his denser novels, and that was a pretty good book though :ehh: never bothered with the Max Von Sydow movie though

my sister is actually a Stephen King stan too. lol
but youre right tho.
the episodic joints tend to be better than the film stuff.
but so many of his "books" are just legendary.

hes like one of them cats where you be like, "damn man. donate some of that talent you got to someone less fortunate."

That is an interesting fukking pick for favorite King movie adaptation.

Mine is still Salem's Lot. That is the one that really needs to be given the big screen treatment.

My mom was a Stephen King fan back in the day. She used to read parts of the Dark Tower to me when I was little.
