Watched this yesterday to kick off this horror movie run I'm on and I'm not sure what's more terrifying:

The lead actress' screams and mannerisms :picard:

The monster itself :what:

The fact that she really had sex with it like she said she did :damn:

The cloning process and explanation :what:

There being a clone of the woman long before the audience is told about the process :mindblown:

Realizing that dude came back home just to find out his wife was stolen by a spawn of satan :dayum:

And I know I'm still missing a few plot points like "pink socks"

What a ride :wow:

Did anyone catch Last Drive-In last night? the double feature was C.H.U.D. and Castle Freak plus Barbara Crampton was Joe Bob's guest.
Joe Bob shyt all over C.H.U.D. and it was hilarious.
I also had forgotten just how crazy Castle Freak was since I hadn't seen it in years.

Me and my girl watched (her first time, my first since childhood) the OG Pet Sematary last night and it was sooooo cheesy lol. The one scene where the dad is scuffling with the son, its obvious they used a doll, when it probably would have been better to use a dwarf (it appears a dwarf was used for some of the scenes for the kid).

Stephen King’s The Stand is headed to CBS All Access
"Another adaptation of a Stephen King series is headed to a streaming service. This time, it’s his classic novel The Stand, which CBS All Access has greenlit for a 10-episode series, according to CBS.

The Stand is arguably one of King’s best-known novels, a sprawling, post-apocalyptic work set in the aftermath of a plague that wipes out most of the world’s population. The novel follows the breakdown of society and the efforts of a small band of survivors who seek to establish a new society led by a 108-year-old who is the embodiment of “good.” They face off against a rival faction headed by a malevolent leader. Dawn of the Dead was fantastic :banderas:
I was driving around a lot this past Sunday doing family stuff, and listened to this during my drives

Lot to enjoy here as far as backstory for this legendary movie goes, just as legendary making-of stories (especially from Savini <3). The thumbnail is George and Dario Argento, who became fast friends despite their immense language barrier  It takes a village to raise a zombie flick

Also started listening to this last night on my drive home. More about George's filmmaking origins but still plenty to enjoy
