1. The First Purge
2. Upgrade
3. Insidious- Last Key
4. Traffik (much better than my expectations)
5. The Cured
6. Breaking In
Breaking In and Truth or Dare - Last,
Winchester was such a slow burn- wasn't impressed.
The rest I still have to see.
Cool thanks. school has been busy so I'm looking for some movies to chill to at the end of the night

Excited for Us this weekend! I know theaters are gonna be packed friday through sunday...

Hope it's a good date movie (my girl likes spooky movies without too much gore. I took her to see Green Room a few years ago not knowing what was in store, and well... that was the benchmark for bloody movie dates LMAO)
Green Room was crazy. Yeah, you started off at 10 with that one, if you were trying to intro her to that type of genre.
:laff:

I refuse to watch movies in a packed theater with crowds. I'll wait until the hype dies down after the first few weeks. People getting all interactive, making comments during the film especially people who are not used to watching horror movies. Acting all jumpy and tense..
the grown men in the theater too, I'm a female and I'm looking at them like- if you don't calm down
:gucci:
the funniest reactions are from the hardest, toughest dudes in the street but hit the :lupe:off a movie. Dude, it's just the sound of a door opening :martin:

3 and 4 aren’t bad. But my issue is 2 made everything scary about 1 not scary anymore. Never explain the scares. Chapter 3 nullifies all the scariest shyt of chapter 1:francis: it actually explains every fukking thing
Yeah the less explanation the better. Pretty much a rule of thumb for horror, it’s what makes odd and disturbing things what they are and actually lasts on the viewer’s mind

Might catch hell for this but the original is :snooze::yawn:
Yeah not all that great. Probably won’t bother to see this reboot

Lmao. Good for Peele that people are coming out in droves for his movies, and it looks like he tried at making a serious thriller with this one.

We’ll prob catch it on a Monday matinee and spare the peanut gallery

I’m looking forward to the remake. I like the source material just don’t think the first movie is that dope.

Lol it just doesn’t work for me. I love the idea. Love it. And love the director. It just doesn’t work for me fully. Maybe it’s because I saw it later in life and it just wasn’t effective anymore, but it was kinda boring and a snooze. It felt in need of an update.

The Achilles’ tendon scene is dope as hell tho

I only saw the OG as a kid so i cant make a fair judgement. Only thing that stuck with me really was kid getting hit by the truck but that was a more “Oh Sh!” Moment than anything.
