Yeah the less explanation the better. Pretty much a rule of thumb for horror, it’s what makes odd and disturbing things what they are and actually lasts on the viewer’s mind3 and 4 aren’t bad. Lol it just doesn’t work for me. I love the idea. Love it. And love the director. It just doesn’t work for me fully. Maybe it’s because I saw it later in life and it just wasn’t effective anymore, but it was kinda boring and a snooze. It felt in need of an update.
The Achilles’ tendon scene is dope as hell tho
I only saw the OG as a kid so i cant make a fair judgement. Only thing that stuck with me really was kid getting hit by the truck but that was a more “Oh Sh!” Moment than anything.
