Yes!!!. I've seen all the Halloween movies, not missing this one. My plans to see The Nun got postponed because of the storm down this way. I might wait and do a double feature back to back. Check out both The Nun and Halloween on that same day. Did you see the Halloween movie thread in here?Yes.
Great writer but how dare he think he could outside Kubrick.

......, he admitted that ...Lol. the creative types always, seem to have a vice ...shhhesshh..coke .. I wonder if some of his inspiration comes from coke fueled binges.“I’m gonna scare the hell out of you!” – Stephen King, in Maximum Overdrive’s 1986 trailer
“The problem with that film is that I was coked out of my mind all through its production, and I really didn’t know what I was doing [as the director of the film].” – Stephen King in Hollywood’s Stephen King in 2003

Definitely fam, I'm contemplating the midnight screening as soon as it drops. That's gonna be one I want the crowded theater experience for.

No ma'am. Halloween one if my favorite franchises...but Blumhouse has been golden lately
I normally HATE crowded theaters but for certain horror and comedy flix they're good...even hood theaters
I don't think he was coked out of his mind for The Shining remake. And what a disaster that turned out to be. I understand he loves his work as he should. But he needs to let artists work their own magic the way Stanley Kubrick did.
I am hoping it is great but going in expecting nothing more than it being good.
