A virus breaks out and a chilling massacre rages through the streets of Montevideo. The sick become hunters, and only calm their fever by unscrupulously killing all those not yet infected. Unaware of this, Iris and her daughter spend the day in the sports club where Iris works as a security guard. When the night comes a fight without mercy is about to begin. Their only hope of salvation arrives when they discover that after each attack the infected seem to have 32 seconds of peace before charging again.
Premieres April 21 on Shudder

This looks good from the trailer. It's giving [REC] mixed with Snyder's Dawn of the Dead vibes.

I’m watching this right now. Definitely REC inspired, even the opening scenes and the apartments looks like a REC set -I’ll see how this turns out.

edit- would be nice if the subtitles didn’t take up half the screen. It may be my app or tv settings. But the words are in that large pre-kindergarten type font like they used those fat crayons to make sure you can see all the words

His body started leaking fluid and blood in being transported via airplane, they wrapped his head in plastic bags to stop the leakages but it didnt help. Due to this- they replaced his original casket with a new one and dumped the original in the ocean.

The funeral person who died the reconstruction/make up (whatever they call it) couldn’t replace the brain matter and open wound in his head to make him look natural due to the damage

James Wan To Produce A.I. Horror Film 'M3GAN' With 'Get Out' Star Allison Williams

By 2023 Allison Williams will be a bonafide scream queen. The star of Get Out and The Perfection will now headline and produce M3GAN alongside another icon of fright, James Wan. Deadline reports the A.I. infused horror movie now lands on Friday, Jan 13th 2023. Presumably yet another F13 without a Jason sighting. Sigh.

Universal Studios, Blumhouse, and Atomic Monster are teaming up for the tech-savvy thriller starring Allison Williams. This is only her fifth film credit to date, and her third prestige horror title. The stats are looking good, and we’re always happy to welcome Williams back into The Further.

Gerard Johnstone of Housebound fame directs M3GAN, the dark thriller written by the incredible Akela Cooper. Cooper is also responsible for writing Malignant, which Dread Central had on our best films of 2021 list. With Cooper and Johnstone on the creative end of things, our attention is inarguably piqued.

Deadline reports that M3GAN “follows Williams who plays Gemma, a brilliant roboticist at a toy company who uses artificial intelligence to develop, M3GAN, a life-like doll programmed to be a kid’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally. After unexpectedly gaining custody of her orphaned niece, Gemma enlists the help of the M3GAN prototype – a decision that has unimaginable consequences.”

Cooper’s script tells of a brilliant toy company roboticist who uses artificial intelligence to develop M3GAN, a life-like doll programmed to emotionally bond with her newly orphaned niece. But when the doll’s programming works too well, she becomes overprotective of her new friend…with terrifying results.

Part of the origin of the project lies at Wan’s Atomic Monster Productions, where he and his execs were kicking around film ideas and landed upon one about a killer doll. Wan had already flirted with creepy and possessed dolls in movies such as Annabelle, but this idea could resonate with audiences in a whole new way.

“Pretty much the concept is about embracing technology too much and relying too much on it,” Wan says. “And what happens with technology runs amok. It’s a commentary on the world we live in and it feels relevant

The most recent film in the entry, V/H/S/94 was produced by Shudder and released last year. The film brought in big numbers for the horror streaming service and it looks like they want more of that!

It appears that Shudder is producing another film in the franchise titled V/H/S/85, and the reveal came in a since-deleted Instagram post from actor Freddy Rodriguez (Grindhouse's Planet Terror). The actor shared a photo of himself in costume with the caption:

Tom Hiddleston and Claire Danes Investigate a Mythical Creature in Trailer For THE ESSEX SERPENT — GeekTyrant

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for its upcoming mini-series thriller The Essex Serpent, which is about the search for a mythical creature in 1883. The series is based on the book of the same name written by Sarah Perry, and it stars Claire Danes and Tom Hiddleston. It looks like a fantastic series that tells the kind of engaging story that I’d enjoy.

Here’s the synopsis for the series:

A widow, a village vicar, and a mythical beast… are the rumors true?" The Essex Serpent follows London widow Cora Seaborne (Danes) who moves to Essex to investigate reports of a mythical serpent. She forms a surprising bond of science and skepticism with the local pastor (Hiddleston), but when tragedy strikes, locals accuse her of attracting the creature.

The Essex Serpent series was created by Anna Symon and it also stars Frank Dillane, Clémence Poésy, Hayley Squires, Dixie Egerickx, Jamael Westman, and Michael Jibson. The series is set to premiere on Apple TV+ starting May 13th, 2022
