@storyteller @Jello Biafra @Lord_nikon This is the North Sentinel Island community that Eli Roth used for his racist toned horror "Green Inferno" movie?? along with the "Indigenous" horror film that was out some time ago.
Why do outsiders insist on not leaving these people alone?? They are not bothering anyone - the audacity of caucasity with the white savior superiority complex.
Then they finesse the story into a horror movie, talking about how 'dangerous and aggressive' they are when in reality, Sentinelese people only react to protect their land and their people.
21:44 - I can't believe how entitled this dude and the missionaries were, the colonizer really thought that he could pass judgement on their customs, beliefs, culture, lifestyle. The "missionary" tried not once but 3x to infringe on their territory. He was warned multiple times. The island people struck his bible with a bow&arrow. One would think that's divine intervention right there to leave and never come back. He came back again, Talking about "Jesus loves them" - they don't even speak english! Like the people don't have their own spirituality or religion. The problem is the outsider really didn't want to spread the word of God to them, he wanted to be a god among them for his personal ego fulfillment. He really insulted their culture, referring to them as "satan's last stronghold"
This fool decides to go back for the third time and proclaim the word of his "god" - again. This last time the indigenous people were like - "you want to introduce us to your Jesus? we have the same idea - how about we send you to him
"
one of the comments-
Missionary: wanna see Jesus?
Sentinelese: wanna meet Jesus
