That shyt was so funny. I was really rooting for him until he didn't call the cops. Seriously? These black folk weren't acting right. Mollie gonna try to call the killer in his house with no backup and then her man didn't try to report her missing before checking things out.

Been watching horror movies 4eva and I do the same shyt - pure anxiety

that’s why it takes me so long to finish sometimes- especially if I like the characters. I’ll be feeling bad if they don’t make it.

I do the same, so it's good to hear I'm not the only one. Sometimes my friends ask me why I collect horror if I'm always jumping and pausing. I can't really explain why I love something that scares me, but I do.

This girl, Noa in “Fresh” reminds me of the mtv hipster chick in Daria
Same hairstyle, same monotone vocal delivery, dry sarcastic dark humor

I cannot believe this girl is sitting up here, eating human flesh and making jokes about eating breasts. I understand she's trying to survive, but this is some next-level survival beast mode that I'm not sure I could ever access even if my life depended on it. This movie is wild.

Agree with all of your statements except:
I do believe the part about not calling the police is plausible 1) police are literally useless in horror movies- they end up murked or causing collateral damage

2) the police will side with the white doctor or the cops could be in on the trafficking scheme as well,

3. I’ve seen enough horror movies to know that the helpless victims run up to the officer talking about “please please officer- you have to help me, he’s trying to kill me!!” Only to end up in the officer’s car and he drives them direct route back to the killer’s home.

I think Paul’s state of mind was like - let me peep the spot to see where his friend was. He even mumbled under his breath after he heard the gunshots something like “Nope, I know how this goes, let me get the f out of here, we never survive situations like this”

Then I think after he was out of harms way - he probably would have. Remember also that there’s no cell or wifi service out where Mollie and Noa were- which he wouldn’t have known prior to- he couldn’t call the police regardless

Is there a real thing that are cotton candy grapes??Like grapes that taste like cotton candy really do exist?? Never heard of this until the movie.

Everytime I go to the grocery store now I will be triggered when I see the meats and grape sections.

The scene with the “chicken” breast looks like the turkey and gravy with mashed potatoes they served us for school lunch

Fresh really laid that ground work for 30 minutes before they hit you with plot twist. Kinda ran on a "we're all dumb" line but it was entertaining and didn't overstay its welcome.

I liked No Exit more. That's a zero to one hundred type thriller done right. Not entirely sure how I feel about her addiction proving sorta helpful but the other setups and twists all landed nicely for me.

Both are nice additions to that Hulu catalog.

I agree, they were both good. I find it hard to compare them because they were so different, but both of them kinda fell apart at the end. Still great additions to the Hulu collection. If this is the kind of stuff they plan to produce, I'm all in.
