I didn’t finish watching. I’ll finish watching today and let you know. It has a 5.6 on IMDB and the comments were generally positive . A 5.6 on IMDb rating gets a 2 point bump from me =7.6 since they actually tend to rate horror movies on the low scale.
The sense of dread when watching The Strangers is on another level. Every. Single. Time. Adding along watching it alone at nighttime to maximize the paranoia of a home invasion. fukk, I love this movie so much.

They’ve been pretty consistent in their works so I don’t see why not.

Miller now own the rights to the origianl screenplay and the DOMESTIC distribution rights only .
to make a movie they (Miller and Cunningham) have to agree on the distribution percentages.
but who now owns the rights to ADULT Jason??
this is crazy - it'll be awhile before we see a Friday film, unless their pockets get light and they have to agree out of necessity.
This movie is soooo brutal - “whoever kills the most people is allowed to live”. Imagine Showing up at the office one day and your colleagues are on some Battle Royale kill or be killed vibes. Saw x Hunger Games x Cube x Dredd kill count meets Office Space = Belko Experiment
Picture being the security guard, janitor or temp worker catching strays
I loved the Belko Experiment. Its a shame it did so poorly at the box office because it deserved to be seen by a bigger audience.
The Omega Man is a classic.pure fukkery,,,, will check those out

I think all that does is give him the rights to the stuff from the first movie but Jason the hockey masked killer is still owned by someone else.
So if everything stays the same then Victor Miller could conceivably make a prequel and even a remake of the OG Friday some day but can't use adult Jason.

I'd add Ari Aster and Robert Eggers as horror directors that look like they'll be consistent. I know not everyone likes them, but you know what you're gonna get.
I'd toss Flanagan on that list too.
Didn’t she die because that jerk was arguing with her about being too fat to swim through the propellor opening or something like that? But he’s the one who ends up getting caught and she rescues him off the strength of being a competitive swimmer, and dies from a heart attack?
