They did dub out with the Halloween h2o, Bride of chucky, serial mom and I STILL know what you did last summer.

Sleepy Hollow - yes
Urban Legend - yes
Funny games - yes
Scream - yes
The rest they could have left off - terrible top 20 . Nothing iconic or groundbreaking, no indies, no slashics like Texas Chainsaw. no Insidious or Conjuring ???!! No ghost movies??

Seven was not horror. It’s a mystery. Gwyneth Paltrow’s head in a box was comedy. And whuttt even is that anime cartoon doing in a top 20, never seen that to place it

There were actual slasher movies that weren't even listed while they included Seven.
Like, where was Castle Freak?

They just started filming in June.

I never understand why horror movies drop stills and location scenes for Release Dates; before a movie has started or just in pre-shoots; not finished filming. Just to build up anticipation - it’s a played out marketing technique. I could see if it was January 2022, that’s an entire year out.

A new installment in the Pet Sematary franchise is in the works for Paramount+, with Jeff Buhler, who wrote the 2019 adaptation, writing.

There’s been a ton of casting already, but Varietyadds that the legendary Pam Grier (Foxy Brown, Coffy, Jackie Brown) has joined the cast!

Grier joins a cast that includes Natalie Alyn Lind (“Big Sky,” “Tell Me a Story”), Jack Mulhern (“Mare of Easttown”), Forrest Goodluck (The Revenant), and Isabella Star LaBlanc.

Jackson White (“Mrs. Fletcher”) is playing a young version of Jud Crandall.

The upcoming Pet Sematary will serve as an origin story to the Stephen King novel about a family that discovers a rather disturbing graveyard in the woods behind their home.


Did Stephen King have a prequel book for Pet Sematary??
Or is this a standalone movie based on his Pet Sematary book?

I never understand why horror movies drop stills and location scenes for Release Dates; before a movie has started or just in pre-shoots; not finished filming. Just to build up anticipation - it’s a played out marketing technique. I could see if it was January 2022, that’s an entire year out.

Unless Peele plans on regularly dropping set photos and tidbits about filming from now until the first trailer drops I don't get why they released the poster now either.

Did Stephen King have a prequel book for Pet Sematary??

The prequel is an original story and I don't think King has anything to do with it at all.
