I liked the 3rd episode of American Horror Stories.

The premise would make for a pretty cool full length movie.

I do get a laugh out of folks harping on the LGBT levels inserted into the episodes though like this isn't a Ryan Murphy production and he hasn't been leaning strong into the gay content on his shows since Day 1.

Y'all shoulda been prepared for explicit homosexual content and girded your loins.

Checked out Blood Red Sky this morning.

It is like Snakes on a Plane meets Under Siege mixed with Die Hard...all with vampires.

It also is part of the sub-sub-sub-genre of horror films that starts off as an entirely different kind of movie (say a heist film) and then takes a hard turn left into being a horror movie.
I love those types of movies.

Guess what fun facts I found out today. My brother told me this:

1. House of 1000 Corpses is based off the Addams Family

2. which is how RZ was tapped to direct The Munsters.

Nahhh. I’m good off NOT having all of that force fed into my mind and having to view graphic homo scenes and sexuality every second of every minute of a 40 min horror movie series. don’t event like sexually explicit graphic sex scenes , so I’m definitely not watching homo erotic content. Every 2000s movie managed not to do it and those were the most popular horror movies of that era With cult or mass following. Tired of agendas being pushed every time- that’s my personal opinion. Rather than complain - I have no problem avoiding the subject altogether. I control my content and entertainment. That’s a NO for me.

I’m not laughing at kid’s trauma but you know the parents couldn’t wait to get their kids out the house after Covid quarantine. without checking camp staff, schedules, accommodations - nothing. $4,000 for 2 weeks. I’m holding the parents just as responsible. Just stuck them on a bus to Camp Hell, no cares given. WTH??

Letterboxd users voted on the Top 20 slasher horror movies of the 1990s...I have issues with the list.

They did dub out with the Halloween h2o, Bride of chucky, serial mom and I STILL know what you did last summer.

Sleepy Hollow - yes
Urban Legend - yes
Funny games - yes
Scream - yes
The rest they could have left off - terrible top 20 . Nothing iconic or groundbreaking, no indies, no slashics like Texas Chainsaw. no Insidious or Conjuring ???!! No ghost movies??

Seven was not horror. It’s a mystery. Gwyneth Paltrow’s head in a box was comedy. And whuttt even is that anime cartoon doing in a top 20, never seen that to place it
