I take it that you never heard of the term “muse”

considering neither Rob Or Sherri set out to be actors, they’ve done very well for themselves


In addition to her antics with the Fireflies, Sheri has also had roles in both Halloweenmovies helmed by her husband, played the lead in both The Lords of Salem and 31, voiced a character in Rob's animated film The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, appeared in the CSI episode Rob directed, and also turned up in his Grindhouse movie fake trailer Werewolf Women of the SS. Considering her involvement with his music videos and live tours prior to getting into movies, it would appear Sheri is Rob Zombie's muse.


With that said, Sheri Moon Zombie has enough charisma and screen presence that it's a wonder she hasn't had more of a career outside of her husband's work. It turns out there's a specific reason she's elected not to.

Appropriately, just as Rob Zombie's movies tend to be divisive, so often are Sheri Moon Zombie's performances. She has a fairly vocal group of detractors just as he does, but for the most part, fans of Rob's movies tend to be fans of Sheri's as well. As such, Sheri has actually said that she gets a lot of acting offers from directors other than her husband, but that she turns them down. The reason is simple: Sheri Moon Zombie never set out to be an actor. The job just kind of fell into her lap when Rob became a director, and while she enjoys collaborating with him, she has no real drive to make acting a full-time career.

She's Rob's muse because she can't get hired by anyone else.

The premise was ass, the movie itself was boring as hell and it wasted the talents of Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

A Zombie directed Friday the 13th would be awful.
He'd cast his wife as Pam Voorhees and then have her survive the first movie so she and Jason could run around as a white trash mother-son murder team to a 70s AM rock soundtrack.

Yes. He is. The mush mouth maestro ruins yet another movie. The best part of this movie was the first 5 minutes when none of the main characters are in the scene.

Did anyone watch the "lost" George A Romero flick The Amusement Park?

This movie made me think of my father and how he is in his 60's now. I'm just lucky dude has lived a mostly healthy lifestyle for the majority of his life and so he doesn't have any health issues at this point.. My grandmother was healthy and lived long enough to see her husband, and 2 kids pass, she had memory issues in the last few years... but she was real good with math, so she still knew what was up and kept a notebook of folks that barrowed money.
