why so low? (No spoilers if you will, please) I mean, it’s not that low for a horror movie- just asking in general. Anything over a 5 is usually good enough for me
It was enjoyable, but nothing that you will be wanting to watch again. The plot is predictable and you will already know who is the killer mad early unless you slow. Chris rock and Sam did they their thing though with bringing in the comedy.

I don't think an $8 million dollar opening is horrible for Spiral considering the current circumstances but I do think Lionsgate left money on the table by not trying to to do a day and date deal with one of the streaming services.
Prodigal Son's digital numbers are supposedly really good (much better than their broadcast rating numbers) and they are a Warner Brothers production so hopefully WB/AT&T give it a shot on HBO Max since that service seems to be on a major hunt for content and a show with an already established fan base would seem like a good place to put resources.
Likely would’ve pulled in more opening money with a June release, especially with the ease of restrictions and majority of theaters opening back up.
Ima try to get into that "Trickster" show in SHUDDER later.
