Behind You
I checked out the documentary on Shudder called Blood & Flesh: The Reel Life and Ghastly Death of Al Adamson. It was really good. The tonal shift from the interesting and hilarious journey of Adamson's filmmaking carer to his tragic ending is jarring but for anyone who is a fan of true crime stuff its a pretty good watch.

I'm happy they were stupid enough to follow the creeper around in the first movie :mjlit:
:mjlol::deadrose:
you know they need that trope- sees demon creature throwing away a human sized body bag in what appears to be a hole in the ground, said creature drives around in a rundown rusty pick up truck, “hey let’s go do our own investigation even though it’s in a middle of nowhere american town and 20 miles away from civilization”:ooh:

I just realized that I’ve never watched the X-files series before
:ohhh:
this popped up in my reccs -going to start watching the series off the strength

and they really banned an episode - ep 4-2 called Home. Looks like a “wrong turn” concept with the deformed hillbillies

Finding out all of this for the first time today; this series looks
:ohhh:

@The Hierophant have you watched the X-files before? Idk how this slipped past my radar all of these years

@LaBellaNicole0416.NYC

"X-Files" is definitely worth checking out if you're a horror fan but you need to be warned, the series has two types of episodes.

1. Myth-arc episodes, which move the main plot (government conspiracy involving an alien invasion) forward. These are GOAT tier until like season 6-7, then the writing falls off a cliff due to a bunch of behind the scenes stuff.

2. "monster of the week", where they deal with all sorts of horror related stuff. These are all over the place in terms of quality but they're mostly good-great and they don't fall off to the extent that the myth-arc stuff does. But there's dozens of these types of eps that are GOAT tier.

:hubie: I'm not disrespecting any male who does. :hubie:

yeah I get why he does tho. and I told him I feel him on ALL of that. my issue wasn't the themes of the movie or even what it had to say. I just thought they were all horrible people and I don't really like horror movies where im rooting for everyone to die. dragging that shyt out for 2 or more hours just makes it worse
