Watched two horror movies that I'm stamping with "don't bother"
At the Devil's Door - first five minutes were promising, it was slow, senseless and not scary at all from then on out...there were a couple of nice visuals but not enough plot or tension building to make it anything more than disjointed garbage.
The Innkeeper - Had some funny moments, the director seemed like he/she knew exactly how to build tension but NEVER made the build up pay off. They tried for a "is she crazy or is this real?" type of plot I guess, but they didn't commit enough either way. The comedic bits were the best part of this. It was mostly lame, characters were dumb and the lack of payoffs to the tension building made it completely lame.
shyt was lame to me

I know he got him in on the job but towards the end he seemed to be trying to hold the main guy back and tried to talk him out of opening fire on that ritual in the woods. Plus from what I remmber of his death it didn't seem like he went gratefully. Also not to sure about the anti-christ business, no one got inseminated in this movie as far as I can recall
I like the supporting cast and the story was good, a bit too hollywood to be scary tho. I was kinda reminded of the way in The Descent where the pot holing got me more tense than the actual monsters like how in this the normal submarine stuff got me more shook than the ghosties.
