Oh wow I have 3 extra mags for mine and I thought I was doing too much.
The only one that won't see much time at the range is the one I keep in the car.
Everything else is getting shot so I have at least 5 mags to cycle through before I'd have to load them. Expensive but I don't like stopping to load magazines at the range that often, especially when it's almost all cacs nearby.
Edit: Ordered 4 WC mags and the magazine covers to go with them. All my tools are fully kitted now.

Yeah the gun range is really the only time I feel like I need more magazines. I usually go with 2 pistols (four 17 round mags each), once I go through them I may reload 1 or 2, but no more than that. It's just not convenient.
Luckily I found a gun range in my area that doesn't have the typical redneck vibes. They have a diverse staff and put a lot of emphasis on being friendly and respectful.

i like having 3 for range toys cause it's usually enough to load up a whole box of ammoOh wow I have 3 extra mags for mine and I thought I was doing too much.
mags are wear items, for metal mags i keep a couple spare baseplates/followers/springs for each type. polymer mag bodies can't be repaired like metal ones can so for those i just buy a couple extras and vulture the small parts from them when needed.
