what are your groups lookin like? past learning a proper stance and grip, i don't think this is something that can be improved watching vids, just keep practicing or try to go to a 102/103 level handgun class. that cz97 is one big bytch so shooting technique is gonna be easier to master for you. i love big handguns and the cz75 design, might go shooting today now off the strength of reading your post.

not bad breh nah fukk that, getting 9/10 within the 8 ring is pretty good for a newbie, that's more than adequate for defense purposes.

Went and took the concealed carry class the other day

Think it was Glock G19 I'd used; would that make a good first handgun?

Also, anyone else wear glasses? I was wondering if they made prescription protective eyewear, or at least some that fit over what you normally wear.

i just wear contacts while shooting but that's mostly cuz i got a weird prescription and finding normal glasses is hell (let alone sunglasses), ion even wanna bother looking for protective prescription ones. make sure whatever you buy says it conforms to "ansi z87" otherwise it's not gonna provide enough protection.

I ended up leaving my optic married to the irons on the CZ. At 15 yards I was pulling it and my Taurus left. There's something going on with my mechanics. Overall both had decent grouping, Taurus slightly better. I was reacting to much to shakiness of the dot. Whereas irons is just point and shoot. Ammo PMC 115gr fmj.
