If you had the choice of buying a weapon light for your handgun or AR, which one would you go with first?

Ah the S&W sd9ve 9mm. Good choice it's a glock 19 clone.

On gun.deals and reddit gundeals those are running for 239 with free shipping online right now at combat armory. I see them regularly for 250. A true steal.
Its one of the cheapest, relaible, and high quality compact 9mm handguns out there. Only thing to improve is throw an apex trigger on there.

I'm about to buy one tonight or tmw with the low price

Which one are you using for home defense.

I'd pick it for my pistol especially for home defense you might not be able to see an intruder, or know where/who your aiming at, it can also go and disorient and blind the intruders if your have one with decent lumens.

I don't see much practical use in rifle lights. Many scopes help slightly illuminate. Most rifles have too much penetration imo for home defense.

Checkout box of truth, I was surprised how much 45 and 9mm penetrated walls from the interiror.
I would say #4 buckshot and hollow point 223/556 are pretty good for in doors as well.

Glock 17 Gen 4 with compensator

Want an F & N 5.7 but the ammo for those shyts are expensive. Still want it though b/c I heard the difference in recoil is really noticeable.

Is it your first gun? My first handgun was the 19. You can't go wrong with the 17.

Fn 5.7 are too expensive imo for what you get. The bullet travels fast as hell and is deadly if it hits a vital area but it's similar to the size of a .22 lr. There's way less recoil too I heard fn were holding product shipments to the US so the fn scars can be 3k rather than in the 2k range. That's the one fn i want too.

Had to change the elevation of my red dot a bit.

I shot this weekend with a friend of mine. He had a lot of .22 rounds to get rid of lol. We shot a lot of them but he had like 600 rounds of that shyt. We gave up at 200 :russ:

I can group well but I need to get my shots on target. I still shoot slight left. I may take a training class this summer.
