shytting on them behind closed doors is fine. Going up to the podium and saying your losing because the people you’ve been coaching and are responsible for are still ass and not you, is another… that’s not the white right way

These things can be tough, I know. But discussions need to be had. Dialogue needs to take place to get things back on the white track. :mjpls:

I give Deion credit for at least being decisive enough to make the move before the season goes completely down the drain. Unlike Lincoln Riley, who let Grinch ruin USC's season.
I’m actually surprised that he did the correct thing here and made an unemotional decision for the betterment of the team. Kept it strictly business… Sean Lewis always looked and sounded uncomfortable over there to me …I was watching one of those welloff videos and they showed him talking about his top 3 rappers of all time and once he said EMINEM is the best I was done :hubie:

Well they definitely need to run the ball.

They can run the ball with Hank. They can’t run the ball with Dylan between tackles, but use Dylan on sweeps.

It’s just been shytty playcalling and using the wrong personnel with the run game.

In these discussions no one ever says, hey maybe just maybe the oc is doing the best with what he’s got and there ain’t always an answer given personnel decisions and hcs guard rails

That UCLA/CU game was a one score game for 2.5 quarters, no reason why they shouldn't have at least tried to run the ball more, Lewis won't even attempt it. You got to at least try, the running backs had 11 carries combined, that's nuts.

Keep in mind ucla is really good defensively and put tremendous pressure on Colorado

There is no discussion, Deion good everyone else bad

There are a lot of dynamics at the center of this, notably philosophy and identity, and the optics of Deion being all "we won't stand for this" about it. Credit to him for making a change though. Most coaches are stubborn for no reason.

Have to wonder why he's put up with Charles Kelly's trash ass if he's willing to make coordinator changes, but that more-or-less speaks to the politics of this whole deal.

The reason I said it'll be funny to watch is because going from a philosophy that hoped to not rely on the offensive line much, to a NFL guy in the attempt to become more "ball control" is wild to do in the final quarter of the season.

Thinking this falls squarely on Sean is wild, I’m sure there is some blame, but there are personnel decisions and philosophy that also have this team looking this way, (i promise he ain’t running screens because he’s run adverse)

The season before 22 he put up 3k rushing yards as a team, the man didn’t show up to boulder and said fukk running

it ain't just the UCLA game, hell he should have been running the ball and trying to slow down tempo more against Stanford in the 2nd half to shorten the game. Hankerson had 10 carries for 58 yards vs ASU in what was a close game, those carries could have been upped. It's definitely not all on Lewis but we've been pointing out the questionable playcalling, personel packages, and lack of adjustments in these game threads since pretty much the CSU game.

Again, you think he don’t have a balanced approach, look at his stats at Kent, i think this a case of doing what he can with what he got, and following chain of command
