If he wants to see the field as a qb, he probably should consider leaving. He’s too much of an athlete to just rot on the bench. I feel the same way about Walter Taylor. However, CU is probably not the place for them.

Prime is a NFL guy. I don’t think these guys have the type of accuracy that Prime looks for in a quarterback.

When I watched Destin’s high school highlights, he was just running in most of them.

I think we’ll see a very different QB room in the future.
actually I am most curious about Staub. I think he is a servicable QB but I don't know if he's good enough to hold off a 5* from taking over. If he leaves then CU may end up having to get multiple QBs out of the portal again.

lol it seems like Prime was lowkey trying to get him to transfer last year after the Stanford game. He praised his performance and said he may be want to go somewhere else instead of sit another year.

The way the roster is evolving, i can’t see Staub ever starting at CU. Staub just don’t have the star power to start for a Prime team. People tune into CU to see the stars man.

if Staub was a senior then he could be the transition guy, but I don't see a 5* coming to CU to sit for a couple of years.

why in the world would either of those teams want Dak?
I know it's funny to shyt on Dak but he's still an upper echelon QB. Finished 2nd in MVP in 2023 and is still only 31. Only issue is the contract, which I'd assume Cowboys would eat a portion of.

If your starting QB is Will Levis/Bryce Young you don't have any room to dismiss an upgrade at QB.

Dak is a damn good QB. People forget Josh Allen, Lamar, Purdy or Burrow haven't won a super bowl either if thats the barometer they using when saying Dak isn't that good.

Your talking about the CFP.

CU needs to win out, and that includes the big 12 championship game. If they do that, they go to the playoffs.

If they lose at any point, they aren’t going to the playoffs.

The big 12 is only going to get one team in. The only way the big 12 could possibly sneak two teams in is if CU beats BYU in the big 12 championship, and BYU only has one loss.

I gotta correct myself. Apparently there is a slight chance that no big 12 team will get in the playoff. I honestly don’t see it but who knows.
