He wants to be in the SEC, or, if he could somehow find a way, be the coach for whatever team ends up drafting Sheduer.
There are already rumblings about him replacing coaches at higher profile college programs that are on the hot seat.
If Florida keeps going the way they're going and Deion manages to pull off 5 or 6 wins you think they're not gonna take a long look at him?
He’s literally never said he wanted to be in the SEC and he’s said on numerous occasions he doesn’t want to coach in the NFL.
Deion is the reason Colorado is going back to the Big 12. He has more shot calling ability at Colorado than he would at any SEC school.
Lincoln Riley didn’t even have a say in going to the Big 10.
He also said he was planning on being at JSU and that his dream was to reestablish HBCU's to prominence and to take JSU to the FBS level, yet he was interviewing for the TCU and Arkansas jobs after his first year at J State. I tried telling people then he wasn't going to be at JSU any longer than he had to, but people didn't believe me. I wouldn't put too much stock into what Deion says.
I guarantee if the team that drafts Sheduer is struggling and offers Prime the HC job he's going to take it.
Deion being the reason CU is going to the Big 12 doesn't mean he's going to be there when they do, and he's not the reason anyway. Colorado was one of the charter members of the Big 12 when that conference formed back in 94. They would've gone back to the Big 12 regardless because the PAC 12 is breaking up and the Big 12 was looking to replace UT and OU.
As long as he wins he's gonna call the shots wherever he goes.
I'm not sure about the transfer rules but the only reason he wouldn't leave for a higher profile school next year would be because Sheduer and Hunter have already transferred once and wouldn't be able to follow him without sitting out a year.

Unfortunately JSU had some shady shyt going on. But of course he would have left to get an opportunity to go to a Power 5. I believe he even said that before taking the JSU job. NFL has been a no go. He said something about kids are hungry. Pros are divas. Didn't say diva but you get it.
I don't see him staying at Colorado if another school starts knocking. And no it won't be FSU because he don't like them clowns after the whole Shedeur fiasco. Only way Colorado keeps him is if they match the deal and add extra shyt.

Colorado leaving is what started the mass exodus which is what caused Oregon, Washington, Utah, and everyone else to jump ship immediately after.
The Pac 12 was looking to expand just like the Big 12 did. Colorado leaving followed by everyone else killed that and killed the conference.

Honestly I don't think FSU would ever have a chance. He love his son. He was disrespected. I think people forget that Deion has plenty money. He isn't apart of the broke after the retirement club. He's doing it for the kids. The black kids. He knew Dylan Edwards since he was four years old. He's trying to get more black coaches in the Power 5 also.

He went on a recruiting trip to FSU when Taggart was there. Kendal Briles was the OC. I guess he was in charge of dealing with the QBs. He worked with the other QBs and completely ignored Shedeur. Even when the kid was trying to ask him something.
So he lit up TCU for 510 yard passing because he wanted to make Briles look stupid. They are already calling for a replacement for Briles after just one game at TCU.
