You haven’t talk about College Football in 5 years. Now you want to poke your head back out…Bruh. I've been right about USC, Auburn and Michigan the last decade. I know it was last season but getting smacked twice by Utah and losing to Tulane in a bowl game ain't a good look. USC is definitely going to fumble the bag this season. All that Caleb hype. That's just what it is.
Caleb's breakdown got 6K views in 6 hours.
I know some of that is the shiny new toy syndrome (for people who havent followed Shedeur but thats crazy
Deion wasn't coaching and getting hated on.You haven’t talk about College Football in 5 years. Now you want to poke your head back out…
Pride is a mufukkaI don’t want to kick a school while it’s down. But imagine Jackson St. players watching the TCU/Colorado game on Saturday. The full stadium, the loud crowd. The energy and excitement. Former teammates showing out.
And then the next day they walk into a half empty stadium where you can hear conversations in the stands. And little to no JSU fans traveled to that game.
I got a feeling this is going to be a theme at JSU and the SWAC all season, and when it’s all said and done, they gonna end up losing more money than it would’ve cost the school to keep him for a few more years.
He wasn't staying at JSU, no matter how much they offered him. I don't know what's so hard for you dudes to understand. He didn't wanna go to JSU to begin with, they're just the only school that offered him a HC job.I don’t want to kick a school while it’s down. Literally already getting 1st round buzz from legit evaluators who are plugged in like Brugler. No exaggeration to say it was a life changing move. They couldn't keep him though. He wanted to go compete, and more importantly he wanted his son to be able to show out against D1 competition. Because Shedeur wouldn't be getting the talk he is now if he was still at Jackson State. Now he's popping up in draft talk.
HBCUs are up against it, and it's been that way for a while. It will continue to be that way because the states that are supposed to be supporting these colleges don't give money to HBCUs like they do historically white colleges. Most of the committees these states have over education are full of people representing the white colleges, and maybe a few from HBCUs.
We can look at the integration situation and it's the same attitude. Black folks thought integration was the key, but white folks opened up private schools to funnel money to. Public schools are trash today because of this.
They will always find a way to get around giving that money to black folks.
This is true. It was about his son(s). One game flipped Shedeur from possibly being drafted day 3 in 2025 to now people thinking he's got 1st round chances this year.He wasn't staying at JSU, no matter how much they offered him. I don't know what's so hard for you dudes to understand. He didn't wanna go to JSU to begin with, they're just the only school that offered him a HC job.
His plan all along has been to get his sons, particularly Sheduer, into the league, and he needed to get him on tape at the FBS level. He's not gonna be at Colorado after Sheduer leaves.

The thing I wondered is if he should just let his son transfer to Alabama or Ohio State. Compete and likely beat those guys out for the jobs and make a name for himself there. However, yea he didnt want to veer off from the plan of seeing it through himself.
I do wonder if his son is late 1st round would he tell him to come back for a SR year or not. Hope he can find a QB in the portal if he goes pro.
I disagree with this. Shadeur could leave this year, Travis is only a sophomore, Dylan Edwards is a freshman. Not counting everyone else he's brought in/currently recruiting. He's already at 5 mil a year. I'm sure he'll be getting a nice bump if they continue to trend this way. Next year they go to the Big 12 where they'll be the big dog easily. Why leave? He wasn't staying at JSU, no matter how much they offered him. I don't know what's so hard for you dudes to understand. I thought about that as well, but the reality is under CP, he didn’t have to compete for the starting job. In addition, CP can hand select the OC that will make sure he looks good. This is true.
