Yeah, I don’t understand why he so hellbent on being “old school”. He need to dial that shyt back or he will fumble this shyt. He proved he can sell out, draw media and now he just need drop that bag and get a winning season.

“It wasn’t really until Deion came on board that we were like, ‘Oh my gosh, we better take a look at this. We better figure out how and what’s the appropriate way for us to be able to get involved with it,'” Belcher told On3. “It’s one of those things that – we had the ‘aha’ moment. I used the phrase, we’ve got the Lamborghini, now we’ve got to put some gas in it.”
Technically, we’re not affiliated with the university,” he said. “But obviously everyone on this kind of small team so far, we all know that Rick George the athletic director, and we all have a relationship – we’re all donors. The relationship is supportive, but we’re not working in tandem. I think Colorado is a bit of a unique situation to maybe some other schools where we’ve had just 20 years of frustrating football seasons.
“I think over the years, a number of people have disengaged from the program. We’re running into a lot of those people now who are very, very excited. And it’s not that they’re getting back on the bandwagon, it’s just that the product wasn’t very good for a very long time, and now they’re very excited to get back in.”

Shedeur and Travis do well in NIL, because they are the two best players and pro prospects. They draw a tremendous amount of visibility to the program. Other players can benefit from playing on such a team. Either from scouts watching their games or from corporations wishing to benefit from that attention.
After the 1st month of the season, Shedeur was legitimately on Heisman Watch lists. You follow and know a lot more about College Football than I do, so dismissing his deals and saying he got them for being Deion's son seems personal and not objective. His early play was a carry over from his stellar stats at JSU , and justified the reason those deals came in.Lil Deion got his money because his pops, and Travis was like the number 1 player, and yes he has talent, but be for real, you don’t get a trickle down because the bmoc is at your school, location, and level of boosters matter, scouts gon watch regardless, and corporations aren’t saying wow #7 caught 3 tds we gotta get him to sponsor our jeans, usually these deals are brokered because a booster wants to support, and throwing nikkas bones, or they have a big enough presence to draw a sponsor and it ain’t always for big money, you gotta remember the avg American couldn’t tell you Travis hunter

Also, local, CO state based, and regional companies are in the NIL picture. 2nd and 3rd tier stars at major D1 schools get deals. Adds up up that guys who were on the team that was the BIGGEST sports story in early Fall 2023 would get looks for deals. On top of the press, celebs attending.....CU officially, and Bucky did a great job promoting the program and players across social media. If the team would have been able to keep the winning momentum going, lot of the other guys would have eaten as well.
That’s as high profile a hire as you can get at OL coach. They’re OL U over there. What about Brian Fetrentz from Iowa for OL coach? He's getting fired as OC but produced several all BIG10 and NFL players, as OL coach there. His OL won the best OL in the country in 2016.
I know. I live about an hour awayThat’s as high profile a hire as you can get at OL coach. They’re OL U over there.
