Colorado HAS improved. The record wont reflect it but they are improved. I think Deion made the wrong coordinator hires if anything. They are trash.

But going back to your post about rebuilding. Lets stay in the Pac..

Kalen Deboer took over a 4 win Washington team that had actually lost to a same 4 win Colorado team and got them to 11-2 the next year and a win over Texas in a bowl. So, I dont quite know if you just saying stuff to be saying it. You got any other instances to back up this 2yr thing? Its hella easier with the portal than in the old days of just HS recruting and transfers who had to sit out a year.

All teams and coaches arent created equal..I get that. But, the flaws Colorado has needs to be fixed from a culture standpoint. Starting with that little league favoritism shyt and throwing kids under the bus.

On offense Sean was a no brainer, dude was putting up numbers and had uga in a blender, i think it’s only so many ways you can be inventive with a bad line, i think they probably also had some clashes in philosophy and calling which is why he got demoted

His staff could use some re tooling, but i also feel like he’s not exactly where a lot of cats want to work, but if I’m him, I’d see what the money can do, and get a couple young cats from the nfl and see if they can shake something at the ol/run game coordinator, and at the coordinator position, also a new S&C coach

But he’s got his work cut out for him because this shyt could get ugly next season

This is misleading though. It takes time to build a program. Having a good first year doesn’t negate that. USC isn’t built yet for sustained success at the level the school is looking for.

Lincoln was actually in a weird spot this year, because he was the victim of his own success at a program that wants to win right now. The expectations this year weren’t attainable. It’s going to appear that he regressed in year two, when in reality he’s still in the stages of rebuilding the program.

Hell TCU went to the national championship in Sonny Dykes first year. That year was basically an anomaly. It’s still going to take him time to build his program, which is why year 2 is such a drop off.

Mel Tucker had that one great year, but the program wasn’t built for sustained success yet.

While i agree it takes time, and some coaches catch lightning in a bottle, deions got a lot of work to do

Used to coach, back in the day he did. Nah, I know, you were the man, knew all the plays, had all the answers. Nothing to show for it, but has all the football knowledge. Knows more than coaches with years of college and NFL experience. Hall of famers, has 'em all beat in these coli streets.
