I thought you just do that background check and take a class...what else is it?

the bad thing about a gun in your crib in chicago is.

the noise,...your neighbors are going to call the police.

then be like they heard shots fired.
then the police come.

the police hemn you up on the front end.
hopjng to get a fed charge stipend from the no gun laws and a house, too.

which is why they have this no gun law bullshyt setup.
it is just like the city steals your car racket.
you could do front end jail time till they get to the bottom of the shyt.

fukk that jail shyt for defending my own crib, and i am legally in the right to use it.

now,..if i get this job.

i will go about taking full licensed perc training and certs over on 87th and ashland.

i can go over and pay like ten dollars for foid, too.

yet the problem is,..i am not the home owner.
i do not know the legality to having a legal strap here, in this location.

plus i do not want the papertrail on me in this location, at all.
which already exists from the incident, but at leasr it is from the police.

i had to sacrifice my covertness because of this bullshyt, too.

which i am really not fukk'n happy about at all....

this is like one of my more liveable safehouses.

i do know if i get full cert on perc's i could carry.
then possibly keep shyt here, but the full cert is 500.
i can not risk that hit.

plus at least the legal cost for a clean strap and ammo right now.
is about 900, for me.

if i cop some legal shyt,...it will be at the very least a .38 desert eagle.

it is better i use grassroots or what i got coming saturday.

which is way more effective and will not make the neighbors call.

anybody know about this bullshyt nikkaz will do to you in chicago to steal your rims.

one of my lil bro's ex homies,...
is into cadi's and shyt.
he had some great rims on his shyt.
he thwarted some dudes trying to steal his rims, and rode out that day.
after they got one rim and he had a replacement at the crib.
he stays out in the south burbs. so instead of going to the crib he rides a doughnot.
he called the police and made a report.
finishing his errands, instead of putting himself up.
that same day,....
a little while after the incident in the same neighborhood.

e gets pulled over and the police are like out the vehicle.

we have a report you tried to steal some rims and drove off.
when they are his rims!!

the cops take him in, and before his car is impounded.
the cops get down to the bottom of the incident while he is in lockup.
release him and take him to his car and the other three rims are gone!!!

Slain Evanston teen was 'game-changer on the field and in life' - chicagotribune.com

Dajae Coleman spent part of Saturday at an Evanston gym doing what he loved: teaching basketball to younger players.

But just hours after he left the gym, Dajae, 14, was shot to death while walking home from a party less than a mile from home, police said.

Dajae was "one of those kids that's always willing to help out in the community," said Jetter Gibson, his former coach with the Evanston Pride Feeder Basketball team. "He wasn't in the streets."

About 10:30 p.m., police responding to a call of gunshots in the 1500 block of Church Street, found Dajae, a freshman at Evanston Township High School, fatally shot.

Cherylette Hilton said she heard a couple of gunshots while driving nearby Saturday night. At Church Street, she saw a group of about 10 teenagers and heard three more shots, Hilton said. Police had released little information about the incident Sunday evening.

Dajae, of the 1900 block of Foster Street in Evanston, was often in the gym preparing for his first year of high school hoops.

2 killed, 2 wounded in West Pullman shooting - chicagotribune.com

A man and woman were killed and two other people were wounded in a drive-by shooting in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side this morning, authorities said.

A gunman opened fire from inside a car, possibly a dark-colored Chrysler, around 2:35 a.m. in the 400 block of West 120th Street, according to Officer Ronald Gaines, a police spokesman.

Quiltavia Patterson, 25, of the 11700 block of South Stewart Avenue, was dead at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Jermaine Carter, 38, of 429 W. 120th St., was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, a medical examiner's spokesman said.

Relatives said Patterson had 3-year-old twins and aspired to be a rapper, while Carter was building a business doing tattoos.

"Before she was anything, she was a good person," Patterson's sister, Shantavia King, said. "She had twins, a boy and a girl. She was getting her life the way it's supposed to be. Now she's just gone."

Patterson had attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana "to better her life, to better herself, for her kids," she said.

"Chicago is getting reckless, it's horrible," King said, sobbing. "Whoever did this, they need to be brought to justice because she was a good person, a good mother, a good sister, my best friend. It is just ridiculous, she was my best friend."

Her mother, Cynthia Patterson, said her daughter loved to sing. "I don't know what I'm going to do without her. What her kids are going to do."

Carter's wife, Valerie Simms-Carter, said she had turned in for the night when she heard gunfire.

Drew Peterson defense team continues infighting - chicagotribune.com

Already divided, the Drew Peterson defense team has become even more fractured, as one attorney has quit the case and another has accused leader Joel Brodsky of sending wildly inappropriate emails, including one that suggested the lawyer should shoot himself.

The infighting has spun so far out of control since the retired Bolingbrook police sergeant's conviction this month that even defense team member Joseph Lopez — who is known for wearing hot pink socks to court and famously proclaiming that the framers of the U.S. Constitution "would barf" on the evidence against Peterson — called the situation over-the-top.

"I've never seen anything like it," Lopez said. "Obviously there's a lovers' quarrel going on. I don't want any part of it."

Lopez and attorney Ralph Meczyk confirmed Monday that Darryl Goldberg, who handled much of the scientific and medical-related testimony, quit the case. Goldberg rarely participated in the Peterson team's twice-daily trial media conferences and often seemed unamused by his co-counsels' behavior outside the courtroom.

Goldberg could not be reached for comment. He will be the fifth attorney to leave the defense team since Peterson's 2009 arrest.
