I think the mayor of Chicago race should be ignored. It will be a trash mayor anyway.
People need to start focusing on the election of the school board in 2024.

That’s why it needs to be a focus on that. If I’m not mistaken the mayor picks 10 and 10 get elected. The people need to start looking towards that election, before they look up and the school board be something they not prepared for.
Dykefoot had no chance. Granted a good chunk wasn’t out of her hands(pandemic, subsequent riots/rise in crime that followed) but she was always in over her head. Pissed off all the unions. Her white progressives ran to Brandon. The regular cacs went with Vallas. He’s probably going to take it. Blacks are a non factor in this city now. When I see more Hispanics in places like Englewood and Roseland you know it’s over. And they voting for Vallas over a black man

Vallas' policies will be Rauner 2.0 and will likely mess up safety nets in places for black and brown people.
If you want anti-immigration, vote for Vallas, if you want pro-black, vote for Brandon.
