so this year for christmas im buying the fam some things from black owned businesses only, and so far i only see the silver room has a variety of items to choose from, while damn near everything else is women clothing stores.

do ya'll know of any other black owned retail stores i should check out?

I been taking my cheap ass to Walmart for the past few months, even FairPlay getting expensive as fukk

I find that food 4 less has the best prices on food in the city. I don't usually do aldi, cuz they don't have everything.

I just had the BEST tacos EVER. this little place in hammond. they make birria tacos and they are

here's two youtube videos on them. I saw the video a couple weeks ago and have been searching for these type of tacos ever since.





Here's pics of the food I got. I bought birria tacos and a quesatacos. quesa tacos are tacos where there's no shell. they use cheese for the shell and fry it so its a little bit browned on the outside to form a shell.

I think this spot popped up in my IG feed before. It’s another spot that popped up too that sell Philly steak egg rolls. It’s in Indy too, might have to make that drive

Use to get fukked up at Bar Louie or one of them spots on Taylor then slide over to Maxwells, bounce right on the Dan Ryan(sobered up of course). I miss pre-pandemic times Them spots use to be flooded with shortys from the medical district and downtown.

I tried another new food spot this weekend. I LOVE LOVE LOVE sushi, and there's three chinese joints on clark and archer that sell a variety of different foods. one of them sells poke, which is a hawaiian food. its essentially sushi in a bowl form.

I got one saturday, and it was so good, I went back monday. Here's the link on google maps.

I posted a 5 star review on them on google after the first time I went, and the next time I was in there, they recognized me and were thanking me and offering me freebies. but I had already paid for my food and told them it wasn't necessary and that I just really enjoyed their food.

Oh fukk that. I'm not doing the mom and pop Arab store if they gonna be raping. I own stock in Kroger and Walmart, so I'll stick with Mariano's, food 4 less and Walmart.
