Some of the suburb school districts are closing down next week. Lightfoot said CPS is going to stay open.
I know that's a hard thing to shut down CPS, but that feels like it's tempting fate in the city. Difficult decision to make.

We’re not China. They can’t shut it down here like that. I think closing schools, libraries, and restaurants is as much as they can do.
Its a lot of people who simply cant cook..
So im beginning to understand why people are mad that they cant go out to eat..
Also, i know for a fact that you have well to do parents who have no clue about cooking for their kids..
So sending them to school has less to do about poverty, and more about parents who dont know how to take care of the kids they created..

Brehs I recommend exploring the forest preserves. Did so with the family today and had a good time. Very few people out obviously. Important to get sunlight during these times.
