He deserves to be fired. Fam didn't go to any old bar but to Ceres Cafe. If you have ever gotten a 'mixed drink' @ Ceres Cafe, then you know this man was on his ass and it aint have shyt to do with his blood pressure medication. He was at the bar with 'another woman' who I'm guessing wasn't his wife.

What a fukking idiot. If he resigned/retired before getting caught slumped over, he would’ve been lauded as a good commander during a difficult time and he would’ve had his pick of different boards/companies etc to join, making hundreds of thousands beyond his fat pension for no work.

They'll bring in a guy from the outside who will make a big splash by doing a bunch of street rips and making arrests just to look good on the surface/paper....basically cutting a snake's tail.

As soon as crime goes back up, they'll start manipulating stats and downgrading crimes. The last "outsider" Jody Weis was notorious for that. So was McCarthy

It's crazy how bad the relationship is b/tn the police and the mayors/city council etc. Chicago cops have been going "fetal" for most of the past decade. If they were able to cut that shyt out (unlikely), the stats would actually be much better (even though relatively speaking for a city of our size they're not even that bad).

Stumbling out of the board of trade at 7pm into the bright sunlight during the summer Have been the drunkest days of my entire life.

Here’s a pic I have in my phone of a jack and coke at Ceres. They just fill an entire glass w whisky and hand you a can of coke. For like 8:50 ! It stays with mad groups of cute dressed downtown black chicks getting sloppy wasted esp Thursday’s and fridays.

Hyde Park Harold's

My boy used to stay in Hyde Park with his rich ass dad and swore that harolds was decent. Me living in between the 87th n dan Ryan Harold's and the 103rd & Halsted Harold's knew better so I always refused to eat that shyt he'd take it personal and everything every time we went into that Kenwood liquors I'd crack jokes like you know ya Harold's still trash right



nikka moved a couple years ago and ain't ate at that one since. Don't even speak on it nomore lmaoo he knew that shyt wasn't hittin right

I updated my post. There a new black owned spot a block over called Sociale (edit Correction, it's named Persona), next door to cactus The black businessmans group I belong to has had a couple functions there. It’s cool and the drinks are good but more expensive. The vibe is never as frenetic as Ceres when I’ve gone tho.

It's Persona. Been open for about a year and a half but definitely a less alcoholic crowd. Now that Reverie and DrinkHaus are closed, it is one of like 3 black spots in the loop or one of the loop neighborhoods (Tantrum and Reverie Refuge)

You right, Persona, my bad. Sociale is on Clark, I'm confusing my happy hours.
Both Newspapers put out articles about Ceres yesterday lol. I seen so many chicks on FB talking about how they want to check it out now.
There will def be a lot of newbies in there getting silly drunk this friday, i gotta help somebody move saturday morning, so I can't do it to myself.

Anybody else got after work spot recommendations drop em. Once it gets below 50 my staying downtown after work game dries up.
