Has anyone heard ANYTHINH about the aahh fest?? I’m really trying to go the whole weekend & request that Friday off but Common ain’t making any announcements.

Aahh fest sold tickets and then refunded the money in 2017. They didn't even try in 2018 so I wouldn't hold my breath about a festival in 2019.

I heard a rumor that Chance might have another festival potentially.

I was one of them. And was compensated with some free tickets to a Migos concert at the house of vans.

I was just telling my sister how pissed i was when wgci called me leaving me a voicemail about it. Like the fukk I want with these??

And yeah Chance def hinted at a Coloring Book 2 show at the end of summer when he dropped his new song. And that’s cool cause Coloring Book was the same weekend as the last Aahh Fest, I was salty I wasn’t able to go to both but enjoyed Ahh Fest still. I’m not holding my breath for this time, just majorly disappointed.

I’m def gonna go to Coloring Book 2 this year.

I've made an effort to hit up a new restaurant at least once a week lately. There's a vegan spot in Hyde Park I have on my list called "I Can't Believe it's Not Meat". However, the weather has been jacked up lately. I was gonna make an evening of it and walk around a little....but these cold ass evening temperatures make it impossible. It's gonna hit 80 at the end of the week, but it's gonna rain cats and dogs.

FBI agents raid ward office of Ald. Carrie Austin

FBI agents executed a search warrant Wednesday morning on the Far South Side ward office of Ald. Carrie Austin (34th).

The search marks the latest step in an ongoing, widespread federal investigation of Chicago aldermen.

So far, Ald. Edward M. Burke has been indicted on political corruption charges, and former Ald. Danny Solis has cooperated with the investigation by wearing a wire for the feds and secretly recording conversations. Burke has denied any wrongdoing, and Austin has not been charged with any crimes.

Ironically, Austin spent part of her morning with Mayor Lori Lightfoot at an event at Julian High School where a summer mentoring program was announced.
